Changes to my study programme

The study program of the career of public administration (the career that I study), is very good and interesting, in part it is because of the review of this study program that today I study this career, since when I know this study program, I I was interested in the areas that I would address when studying this career.

Something that I did not like about the study program of the career is the area of mathematics and statistics, since I am very bad at numbers and it has cost me a lot, like the excel course.

I think that perhaps this area should be changed and reinforced thinking about what could really serve us in the future, since in these fields we see matters such as "derivatives" and "integral", which in a future work perhaps would not be applied as a mathematical thinking in the budgetary sense, which is used for an organizational design or for the creation of public policies.

To make this change in the area of mathematics, we must consider the study times and the academic load, considering that these branches and areas are developed in the first two years of university, when one is just getting used to this new challenge that is the university, so I recommend making a gradual advance between the curricular change of mathematics 1 and mathematics 2 to gradually include a mathematical thinking focused on areas of analysis that will serve fully in public management and remove areas that only complicate this and that seem more like a branch of calculation of some engineering career.

To add this adjustment to the study program, it is necessary to expand the academic mesh or simply modify some of the mathematics branches to add the new, for this the technologies and facilities of the faculty can be used to make a correct readjustment and that the classes continue to be carried out normally, thinking of going back to pre-sensory classes where you learn much more than online classes.
